I’m Gino! I’m broadly interested in machine learning and bioinformatics. I do competitive programming, and in a past life, debated for Thailand at WSDC 2024.

Besides this stuff, I love music/singing (current fav artists are Tame Impala, Men I Trust, Mac DeMarco) and reading (current books = [Seeing Like a State, Norwegian Wood]).

The purpose of this website is to:

1. Share some of the learnings I think could be helpful, and
2. Expose myself by documenting my thoughts in public, even if I may come to disagree with them in the future. As Sriram Krishnan says about his posts, “Some are good, some got a lot of attention, some are terrible and embarassing and some, well, let’s just say I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote them.”
